Professor Stefan Prigge
Professor of Corporate Finance and Corporate Accounting
He holds a doctoral degree in economics from University of Hamburg (1996) with a thesis on "Central Bank, Stock Market Crash, and Systemic Risk" (in German). His second book ("Habilitationsschrift") on "Corporate Governance Structures of German Corporations. An Empirical Analysis" (in German) was accepted by the University of Hamburg in 2006. Additional research areas include asset management, organization of and competition in financial markets, and regulation of the financial sector.
