Profile:
Dr. Azhdar Karami is Lecturer in Business and Management. He started his academic career in 1991 when he obtained his MBA and have worked in different teaching posts in the overseas universities, University of Bradford, and ultimately as a Lecturer in the Bangor Business School..Dr Karami has been and is currently responsible for organizing two modules in undergraduate and two more modules in postgraduate levels at the Bangor Business School.
His research interests include strategic management; strategic Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour; entrepreneurship, and strategy and innovation in organizations. He has published several books, journal articles and conference papers. He has written the book strategic management in small and medium sized companies (with Prof. Analoui) published by Thomson Learning (2003). This book has been translated and published in Russia by UNITY publishers in 2005. He has published in a number of leading international peer refereed journals including Journal of Management Development; International Journal of Management and Corporate Governance: International Journal of Business in Society.
