Author's Report The journal made a remarkable progress toward development of the author database during last six years. The most important items of the author database, i.e. the share of empirical papers published in the journal and number of regional markets, considered by authors, are stable to develop.
Regional structure of the author database is quite diversified since 2003. We have contributors from developed countries and developing such countries as Cambodia, Tunis, Nigeria, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Kuwait and many other countries where corporate governance just starts its way to develop.
At the same time, there were many contributors from well-known countries where corporate governance has a rich history. These are the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, and Australia. We try to keep to a diversified approach to accept papers, submitted to the journal. The issues of corporate governance, the most frequent considered by the authors are board practices, financial reporting, executive remuneration, corporate control and corporate ownership. More than a half of all papers published in the journal were written on the above mentioned issues. At the same time we welcome authors writing on other corporate governance issues such as accounting and audit, corporate social responsibility, rights of minority shareholders, codes of best practices and others.
